²³ ten fat oxen and twenty pasture-fed cattle, a hundred sheep in addition to deer, roebucks, gazelle, and fatted poultry. ²⁴ For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the River^[a] from Tiphsah to Gaza, over all the kings on this side of the River,^[b] and he had peace on all borders of his land. ²⁵ Judah and Israel lived safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan to Beersheba all the days of Solomon.
